Silas is definitely lame. I couldn’t even coax him to leave the stall because his leg hurt so bad. There were no huge bloody cuts – just a few old ones from a couple weeks ago. I can breathe a sigh of relief from that one. He was eating fine and while obviously uncomfortable didn’t seem like he was about to kill over. I’ll be on the phone with the vet first thing in the morning but until then life goes on.
He has been lame for the last week or so. I thought it was an abscess but my farrier checked him Saturday and said its not likely. So we shall see! Please keep little Silas in your prayers
