Sarah is a believer in grace – from Jesus, for your friends and family, and for yourself

Born and raised in Mississippi, she followed her dreams to gallop racehorses in Kentucky during college. Now she’s settled down in Virginia with her husband, 2 kids, dog and horse, but she’ll always be a Mississippi girl at heart.

During those 2 years in Kentucky, her life was forever changed. Her world was crashed, crumbled, and pieced back together. Now at night when the kids are in bed and she’s done her work for her Mary Kay business, she sits on the couch with a computer in her lap and writes the story all down. It’s an act of obedience to Gods calling, and when it’s all done and published she hopes it changes you even a fraction of how living through it changed her.

She also loves to blog, podcast and public speak in hopes that the lessons she’s learned can encourage you. Her favorite quote is, “we rise by lifting others,” and one of her favorite Bible verses is Romans 8:28 “We know that in all things God works for the good of those who love Him, who have been called according to His purpose.” This verse reminds her that when it feels like the sky is falling and nothing good could come of the situation, GOD can work it for good. And he always does.
