Donna Barton Brothers is a former jockey who won over 1,100 horse races and now covers horse racing and other equestrian sports for NBC Sports and NBCSN.
You might recognize her from Triple Crown TV coverage, interviewing jockeys from horseback after the Kentucky Derby, Preakness, and Belmont races. She took an hour out of her day to chat with us about horse racing, helping horses when their racing careers are done, as well as share some helpful tips on people skills.
