Hey y’all! What a strange Thanksgiving for much of the world. In the midst of the stress and chaos, there couldn’t be a more needed holiday. Truly the only way I can mentally handle a lot of what’s thrown at me in the last few months is reminding myself of the things I’m grateful for. Yesterday after a traffic filled drive to the barn where Essie had been a complete pill, I tensely parked and grabbed the cup of cold brew coffee from the cup holder. The top popped off and the entire full cup of coffee spilled all over my drivers side floorboard. Tears threatened to come – no coffee AND a huge mess! But then I spied the car mat Joey bought – custom mats that are plastic that literally nothing gets through. All I needed was a towel and it was cleaned up. The coffee was still gone, but at least we had that magical car mat to make it not a big deal. It’s being grateful for little things like that, that help me hold it together with (usually) a smile on my face.

What are you grateful for today? The big things and the little things?

God is so good,

Sarah
